Holiday Season

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008!

The Holiday Season has come and is practically gone!!!! Time really flies fast. I love the Holiday Season. Lots of decorations, lots of good will and lots of cheer. During this time of year, most people seem genuinely happy. But I don't live in a vacuum. I also see that many are sad and in need.

My Christmas wish for 2008 is to reach out and to help someone in need. As quilters, fiber artists, and creators we have many opportunities to share our crafts and skills for the viewing public.

My commitment this year is to initiate a "Give a Quilt". Please Join me on this journey.
An Hour A Day: Who really can give only an hour a Day to something that you love doing! Not me. I am ending the year on a good note. After taking inventory, I realized that I have completed five quilts of various sizes. I pieced and quilted four. I made ten tops and they are ready to be quilted. I cut enough fabric to make roughly another five tops. I contributed two quilts to charity. I taught five classes. I wrote and distributed "two" newsletters. I also finally opened my very own "on-line" catalog shopping website - http://www.auntbehomestore.com/ This store has been a dream of mine for a long time. Well, I guess despite it all, I have been productive! Those hours add up.

Fabric Post Cards: This year my new learning experience was "fabric post cards". I just feel in love with them so much so that I began my own line of fabric note cards. Well, I am just in the infancy stages, but I see big things happening. This year, I personalized all of my Holiday Cards individually.

Life is calling.............I can tell by the ringing of the telephone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
